An Air Max 1 and Blazer Low Join Nike’s N7 Collection
Following the release of a Summer N7 collection earlier this year, Nike closes out the year with additional N7 footwear releases that celebrate Native American and indigenous cultures.
Revealed so far in this upcoming collection is an Air Max 1 and Blazer Low, each featuring a haptic graphic pattern seen previously on the Kyrie 6 N7. This pattern made up of multi-colored diamond shapes honors the vibrant patterns of certain Native artwork and is a nod to the quilts and medallions gifted to recipients during naming ceremonies, like the ones given to Kyrie Irving by the Standing Rock Sioux in 2018. The insides of the tongues read “In every deliberation we must consider the impact of our decisions on the seventh generation,” an ancient Iroquois philosophy that says that the decisions we make today should result in a sustainable world seven generations into the future.
