One of the highlights of Paris Fashion Week is seeing what sneaker collabs COMME des GARÇONS has up its sleeve. Rei Kawakubo and her team always manage to surprise, blending their signature minimalism with unexpected silhouettes. For Spring/Summer 2025, COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus delivered a curveball nobody saw coming.

Introducing the Nike Sense 96, a unique hybrid silhouette that combines design cues from two vastly different Nike product lines: the ’90s Air Max line and the modern-day Nike ISPA. Its uppers feature leather overlays with padded panelling peeking through the cutouts, which have a shark fin-like shape that calls back to the Air Max 96. This is paired with the thick sole unit of the Sense Flyknit, a silhouette that debuted in 2022 as part of Nike’s experimental ISPA (Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt) line.

The shoe is offered in three colorways: black with white accents, white with black accents, and white with pink overlays and black accents. CDG Homme Plus branding appears on the tongues and on the medial shank plate, while mini Swooshes are found on the toe box, on the midsole at the lateral toe, and on both side panels near the heel.

The COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus x Nike Sense 96 drops April 10th at Dover Street Market locations and on the DSM E-SHOP. Check out all three colorways below.
