Nike SB Dunk Low “Krampus” Dropping Holiday 2025
Nike SB is celebrating the holiday season this year with a “Krampus” Dunk Low inspired by the demonic mythical figure.
In Alpine and Central European folklore, Krampus is a half-goat, half-demon monster who punishes misbehaving children on Krampusnacht (December 5th), the night before St. Nicholas Day, while St. Nicholas rewards good children with gifts. After exploring this “Krampus” theme in 2012 with a Dunk High designed by legendary skate artist Sean Cliver, Nike SB is back in 2025 with a new reinterpretation.
The Krampus SB Dunk Low features a magma-inspired design, nodding to Krampus’ association with volcanoes and the underworld. Cracked black leather uppers with orange peeking out resemble the volcanic, igneous rock that forms as flowing lava cools. This crackled design extends onto the midsoles, while the tongues feature basket weave construction, representing the basket that Krampus uses to steal bad children away. Krampus himself appears on the inner tongue tags along with a message that reads “Not Surprised,” as if he already knew you’d been naughty this year. Molten rock-inspired graphics are found on the insoles, along with a sketch of a devilish smiley face.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “Krampus” is set to arrive at skate shops and on SNKRS this holiday season. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
