Original Story (06/05/22): One of the top sneakers released last year was the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “The Wave” collection. Four colorways (Monarch, Noise Aqua, Rush Maroon, and Black.) Descended in the last three months of 2021 and comes with distinctive wavy fenders. A fifth colorway is now expected to be released.

Patta co-founder Edson Sabajo revealed in an IG story that the white colorway of the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 will drop. The shoes feature the same color scheme as the 1-of-1 “Roman Forever” colorway, which was created by Nike in memory of Sabajo’s son, who passed away in 2021. It features a gray mesh base and gray Swoosh, white leather overlay, and a yellowed midsole. Expect Nike Air branding on these heels instead of a personalized “Roman Forever” message.

Update (08/23/22):The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “White” will be available on Friday, August 26 at 1 p.m. CET (6 a.m. CT nike.patta.nl alongside the matching clothing line. Launched at both Patta locations and SNKRS in Europe. This piece is part of Patta’s ‘The Next Wave’ collection, which also includes the recently released ‘Dark Russet’ colorway.
