More Uptempo was designed by Wilson Smith and launched in 1996. The large ‘AIR’ branding on the side makes it instantly recognizable, while the Scottie Pippen makes it a global icon. Now, Nike has introduced the Air More Uptempo Slide, which has a similar tool to the OG and features a visible Air unit on the midsole. The upper is made from a nubuck leather strap with fluffy ‘AIR’ branding on the side and a black and white silhouette that pays homage to the OG Uptempo colorway.
