Original Story (08/08/22): Nike celebrates the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1 with special colorways and collaborations throughout 2022. A new premium “Denim” colorway is coming soon.

The Air Max 1 comes in a slate-blue denim upper, with a similar-toned suede for the toe box and fenders. Then, the darker royal blue color is used for the leather Swoosh, tongue tabs, and insoles. Other features include cream-colored laces, an aging midsole, and a gum outsole.

Update (08/14/22): This Air Max 1 is officially known as “Dirty Denim” and pays homage to the 2003 colorway of the same name. Grab it on August 26 at SNKRS and select retailers.
