Original Story (10/19/24): Following their take on the Air Max 95, London-based streetwear brand Corteiz is reuniting with Nike for a new collaboration on the Air Trainer Huarache.

A first look at the collab shared by Corteiz founder Clint 419 reveals a colorway dressed in grey suede with a green camo design on the inner neoprene bootie. Corteiz branding is incorporated throughout the design, including the Alcatraz logo on the forefoot strap, “Air Huarache By CRTZ” on the tongue badge, a mini Corteiz logo on the toe, and “RTW” (Rules The World) embossed on the heel alongside the Nike logo. A large Swoosh has also been embroidered onto the toe box.

According to leaks, this “Flat Pewter” pair will be joined by two additional colorways, one in “Light Bone” and another in “Black.” Accompanying Corteiz x Nike apparel is also dropping, including track suits and jerseys.

Update (11/08/24): The Corteiz x Nike Air Trainer Huarache “Gully Grey” (aka “Flat Pewter” and accompanying apparel launches Friday, November 8th at 7pm London time (2pm ET) on the Corteiz website. Update (11/05/24): Corteiz shares a closer look at the Air Trainer Huarache in Flat Pewter as well as the accompanying tracksuit and jersey.

As part of the rollout, the two brands have also released a “Freestyle” campaign film inspired by the original Nike Basketball Freestyle ad from 2001. The updated version features a soccer twist and stars Eduardo Camavinga, Kobbie Mainoo, Tempa T, Chloe Kelly, KwolleM, Ma’kel Campbell, Olaolu Slawn, and more.
