Original Story (10/20/21): In addition to the ‘Orlando’ colorway, Penny Hardaway’s iconic Nike Air Max Penny 1 signature sneakers are returning in 2022 in the OG ‘Home’ colorway.

Fans have been waiting for this for more than two decades, as the “Home” colorway hasn’t been retro since it was first released in 1995. A throwback to the basketball days of the ’90s, this shoe features a color scheme that complements the Orlando Magic’s home jersey. It features blue gemstone Swooshes, a white upper, a pinstripe pattern on the tongue and Penny’s 1 cent logo on the heel. At the feet, the model features Tension Air cushioning on the forefoot (now known as Zoom Air) and an Air Max bubble design on the heel.

The Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Home” is scheduled to be released sometime in 2022 at Nike.com and select retailers. Check out the OG pair below, and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on this retro release.
