Original Story (06/24/22): Nike is bringing back the Air Max 97 “Gold Bullet” for another retro launch, sources told Complex.

Originally released in 1999, the Air Max 97 “Gold Bullet” (aka “Metallic Gold”) has been retro several times over the years, most recently in 2018. It’s essentially a gold version of “Silver Bullet,” a fan-favorite OG colorway that’s expected to return soon as well. Metallic gold adorns its mesh and leather upper, while the Varsity Red logo appears on the side panel and tongue.
