Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 “Brooklyn” Coming Soon
Original Story (04/25/22): In early April, we saw the release of the Off-White x Nike Blazer Low, the first Nike collaboration by Virgil Abloh since his untimely death last November. It looks like the next posthumous release will be a new installment of Abloh’s limited-edition Air Force 1 series.
The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1s collection includes a special colorway released to coincide with Virgil Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” art exhibition at various museums. For example, the blue “MCA” colorway was released at the opening of the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, while the yellow “Lemonade” colorway was released as part of the opening of the ICA Boston exhibition. Next up is the “Light Green Spark” colorway.
This colorway features many of the same design patterns as the previous Museum AF-1. It has a tonal look with the exact same green hue on the leather upper and cup sole underfoot. A metallic silver-toned Swoosh logo adorns the side panels, while the iconic Off-White x Nike branding appears on the inside. In addition to the color change, the main difference from the previous version is the addition of an opening in the tongue.
