The OG Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared” Returns Next Month
Original Story (08/26/19): Nike will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 90 next year, and in a big way. If the rumors are true, then we can expect Nike to bring back the original Infrared colorway in its true OG form.
While the Infrared Air Max 90 has released multiple times throughout the years, this release is expected to most closely resemble the original 1990 release. Expect the sneaker to include the OG profile stitch that runs across the vamp and Swoosh, and the return of plastic eyelets instead of the more recently-used rubber ones. However, this release will continue to use the modernized shape and adjusted heel tab of recent releases.
The Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared” OG is slated to arrive in Spring 2020, possibly in time for the Air Max Day celebrations that happen on March 26th. Check out the pics of the OG release below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more exact info on this release.

The Air Max 90 “Infrared” returns on November 9th in full family sizing. A “Reverse Infrared” colorway is also expected to drop on the same day. Check out leaked images of the 2020 “Infrared” below. Photos via bubblekoppe/IG.
