Nike Is Dropping Air Max 95-Inspired Mercurial Soccer Cleats

In honor of the Air Max 95’s 30th anniversary, Nike is fusing the classic sneaker with the Mercurial Superfly 10 Elite, creating a high-performance soccer cleat that brings street-style aesthetics to the pitch.

Debuted by Kylian Mbappé, this football boot is inspired by the OG “Neon” colorway of Sergio Lozano’s iconic design—borrowing its layered sidewalls, gradient greys, and neon yellow accents—and features an Air Max-inspired logo on the tongue that reads “Air Zoom.” Underfoot, the tooling consists of the Mercurial’s usual 3/4-length Air Zoom unit for a propulsive feel, while the soleplate includes the PSI graphics from the outsole of the Air Max 95, with the years 1995 and 2025 added to commemorate the 30th anniversary.

In addition to the Mercurial Superfly 10 Elite in adult sizes, Nike is also dropping a kids’ version of the Mercurial Air Max 95 with the silhouette of the Mercurial Vapor 16 Pro.
