Nike SB P-Rod 1 “20th Anniversary” Drops May 2025

Paul Rodriguez’s original Nike SB kicks are set for a return in 2025 in celebration of the P-Rod 1’s 20th anniversary.

In 2005, Nike SB released Paul Rodriguez’s debut pro model, the Zoom Air Paul Rodriguez, making Rodriguez the first skateboarder to have his own pro shoe with Nike. This partnership has stood the test of time, with Paul now having 10 P-Rod signature models under his belt.

The P-Rod 1 was last retro’d in 2015, brought back in its original white/black colorway for its 10th anniversary. This colorway is now returning once again in 2025, staying true to the original release with its full-grain leather upper, “PR” debossed pattern around the heel, Zoom Air-cushioned midsole, and puffy tongue. There are some modifications, however, such as platinum accents (platinum symbolizing 20th anniversary) and the translucent rubber outsoles.

The Nike SB P-Rod 1 “20th Anniversary” reissue is set to drop in Summer 2025 on SNKRS and at select skate shops. Grab an early look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
